General Terms & Conditions – Het Brummelhof

1. General Information
Het Brummelhof is a private guesthouse for a maximum of two persons, located in the municipality of Veere. By making a booking, you agree to these terms and conditions.

2. Booking and Confirmation
You can make a booking via our website or by phone. Upon receipt of your request, you will receive a binding confirmation by e‑mail.

3. Payment
Please make full payment within 5 days of receiving the booking confirmation. If payment is not received in time, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation. Payment details are provided in the confirmation email.

Cancellation by the Guest

  • Up to 30 days before arrival: free cancellation

  • 30 to 14 days before arrival: 50% of the total amount payable

  • Within 14 days of arrival: 100% of the total amount payable

We recommend purchasing travel cancellation insurance.

5. Cancellation by Het Brummelhof
In the unlikely event that Het Brummelhof must cancel your booking (e.g. due to force majeure or unforeseen circumstances), we will inform you as soon as possible. Any payments already made will be refunded in full. No further liability is accepted.

6. Check‑In and Check‑Out
Check‑in is available from 15:00; check‑out by 11:00. Other times may be arranged upon request.

7. Stay and House Rules

  • Het Brummelhof is a non‑smoking property.

  • Pets are not allowed.

  • Please respect the peace, surroundings, and other guests.

  • Day visitors are welcome by arrangement only; overnight stays for additional guests are not permitted.

8. Liability
During the stay, the guest is responsible for the accommodation and its furnishings. Any damage must be reported and will be charged accordingly. Het Brummelhof is not liable for loss, theft, or injury.

9. Force Majeure
In case of force majeure (e.g. natural disaster, power outage, government restrictions) that makes the stay impossible, we will seek a solution together. Het Brummelhof is not obligated to pay compensation in such cases.

10. Privacy

We highly value your privacy. Personal data provided during the booking process is used solely for administrative and communication purposes related to your stay.

By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you consent to the use of your data to inform you – where relevant – about future bookings or reservation opportunities.

Your data will not be shared with third parties and will be handled with care in accordance with applicable privacy laws (GDPR).

If at any point you no longer wish to receive messages about bookings or offers, you can easily unsubscribe via a link in the email or by notifying us directly. We will respect your choice and act on it immediately.

11. Applicable Law
Dutch law applies to these terms. Disputes will preferably be resolved through mutual agreement.
